Upcoming Youth Conference
Toronto, ON – The spring of 2011 marks the third year for holding the future forward Quo Vadis III Conference. It will take place on the historic grounds of the University of Toronto, May 13-15.
Quo Vadis, Latin for “where are you going”, provides youth of Polish heritage the chance to form dynamic relationships, to discuss and exchange ideas. Through engagement of delegates in workshops, discussion panels and cultural events along with high level speakers with broad expertise in politics, business, military and academics, the conference will provide methods and tools necessary for successful implementation and sustainability of initiatives
The organizers of Quo Vadis III are three groups intensely involved in the Polish-Canadian community: the Polish Students’ Association at the University of Toronto (PSA) – one of the oldest and longest running Polish Students’ organizations, the Polish Students’ Initiative of Canada (PISK) – formed in 2008 by students from universities across Toronto, and the Young Polish Canadian Professionals’ Association (YPCPA) – directly formed as a result of past Quo Vadis conferences. Past Quo Vadis conferences attracted over 150 participants from North America and Europe. The 2011 edition is expected to host well over 200 participants
